Market Simulations, Built by Colorado Investment Club, Made for High Schools Students.
Introduction to Financial Markets
The first simulation in the curriculum, Simulation 1A introduces members to financial markets. Here, members will understand the core concepts of financial markets such as, how prices are determined, what changes prices, liquidity and volume.
Introduction to Financial Markets with Government Intervention
Continuing off the first simulation, Simulation 1B is exactly the same as Simulation 1A but with government intervention. The intervention comes in the form of a government-sponsored market maker.
Complex Trading
Starting off the second unit, players are introduced to shorting. To ensure the simulation runs smoothly, the government should hold some shares to lend out to players.
Introduction to Futures
Simulation 2B introduces players to Futures Contracts. To introduce them in a simple and comprehendible way, the futures are based on a ficitious index.

Introduction to Options
In Simulation 2C, players are introduced to call and put option contracts. To ensure liquidity, there is only one asset on which options are based on, and only two expirations.
